Animals and the Alps: Is Freedom the Most Effective Criterion for Judging Animal Welfare?
Saturday, September 19, 2015 - 4:30 PM Cortile palazzo Garrone
Piazza Caduti per la Libertà - Bra (Cn)
To the consumer, animals living freely at pasture would appear to be enjoying optimal conditions. But is freedom really synonymous with wellfare? Do animals living in a wild state or at pasture enjoy a quality of life superior to that of farmed animals? And how much can humans influence the life of animals? This meeting will attempt to answer these questions and others besides.
