The bond between women and milk is one of the most precious and symbolic nature that has to offer. In this tasting, six female cheesemakers from all over Italy will tell you their stories. Setting out from the North, Manuela Ceruti will present her Macagn (Piemonte), after which you'll stop off in Tuscany to taste Angela Sargentoni's Pecorino, then in Picinisco, Lazio, for Maria Pia's. In Abruzzo, you'll sample Serena Di Nucci's Caciocavallo di Agnone (Molise), while waiting for you in the South will be Filomena Merola's Cacioricotta del Cilento (Campania) and, in Sicily, Grazia Invidiata's Provolone delle Madonie. This get-together will explore the role of women and their social, local and cultural expertise in dairy production. Pairing with a selection of beers offered by Radeberger Group.
