Efforts to bring Parmigiano Reggiano production to the Emilian Apennines began in the first half of the 20th century and have produced excellent results, thanks to the meadows and pastures located at around 700 to 800 meters above sea level and the excellent cattle-farming conditions. Led by the Parmigiano Reggiano consortium, you'll taste a selection of mountain-made cheeses of different ages, paired with glasses of Barolo from different producers and vintages.
